Todd Humble - Class Of 1990

Major Todd N. Humble died of natural causes on October 9, 2006, at the age of 39. He was buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

The following is from his entry at the below-mentioned obituary link:

"Todd was a graduate of Grove City High School, class of 1985. He received a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Pennsylvania State University in 1990 and a master’s degree in computer resource management from Webster University in 1999.

"He began his military career during his junior year at Penn State, where he enrolled in the ROTC program. In January 1992, he completed pilot training from Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, where he was certified on the C-141 and later became certified on the C-17 at Charleston Air Force Base, S.C. He was an instructor and aircraft commander of pilot training for both aircrafts.

"He was an active reservist with the Air Force and a pilot with Delta Airlines Inc.

"His wife, Gina Candella, whom he married Aug. 8, 1992, survives at home.

"Also surviving are two children, Jacob, 8, and Rachel, 3, both at home in Spokane, Wash.; his parents, Gale and Nancy Humble, Grove City; and a sister, Jill Schwartz and her husband Mitchell, Medford, N.J."
